Zintis Buzermanis studied art and photography at the Pratt Institute, where he received his BFA/BID. His study of fine art and love of photography, and exploring ideas with images have had a strong influence on his design career, involving commercial photography/visual communication in his capacity as design consultant to Bristol-Myers Squibb, Calvin Klein, Clairol, Braun and others.
He is a lifelong resident of Long Island, and is drawn to the visual scenarios that are present in daily experience, observant of the transformative properties of light, and how the angle of view, composition and the element of chance can affect our perception of subject matter and create meaning.
